Recycling empty toner and inkjet cartridges is an environmentally friendly service. It is important in reducing waste and ensuring that toner residues are disposed of carefully.
Recycling toner cartridges – what we collect
Most laser printer and inkjet cartridges.
We try to recycle as much as possible although there are some items which we are unable to collect. In particular, photocopier toner bottles, printer ribbons and those cartridges that have already been recycled.
Recycling cartridges – storage
Empty cartridges should be put back in the boxes they came supplied in. This will protect them during transit and storage. To save space, most will fit two to a box.
Recycling cartridges – collections
We can collect when you have a minimum of twenty cartridges. If you are in our collection area and the cartridges are suitable for recycling, the service is provided for a charge of just £20 plus vat.
For those organisations already recycling with us, we can pick up any cartridges you have at the time, with no minimum quantity. For organisations who are not existing customers, we can only collect a minimum of twenty cartridges.

Waste cartridges – In 2016 we used over 55 million inkjet and toner cartridges in the UK of which less than 40% went on to be recycled.
